Rain or shine, the region's largest farmers’ market can be found at the City Market every Saturday and Sunday year-round. More than 140 vendor stalls burst with bedding plants, fruits, vegetables, herbs, fresh baked goods and other sweets, cut flowers and crafts made by local artisans.
At the City Market, you will find the finest produce and many organic foods all fresh from Missouri and the surrounding region.

Music Under the Arch

City Market’s Music Under The Arch series features live bands performing on final Thursdays. Ideal for people who are looking for after-work weeknight entertainment in the downtown area. Here’s the lineup:
September 28: The Old No. 5s
Music Under The Arch combines local artists and a block party setting amidst City Market shops and restaurants. Performances will take place from 5:00–8:00 p.m. just inside the City Market Arch entrance at 5th & Walnut. All shows are free; open to the public and rain or shine. In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy cold drinks from a cash bar.
The all-local lineup is consistent with City Market’s commitment to supporting Kansas City artists, music and business.
